Argentina’s Fernandez government rebuked by primary voters

This week Joseph discussed the Argentine primary for the upcoming legislative election, which dealt a blow to President Alberto Fernandez and his ruling coalition in the National Congress. While not a victory yet, it’s a telling sign of the growing discontent among the population. Fernández’s popularity has plunged to 34%, down from a peak of 57% in April 2020, as inflation soars.
